CL (Cardiolipin/Diphosphatidylglycerol) is a unique Phospholipid carrying four acyl groups and two negative charges. Chemically it is known as 1,3-bis (1',2'-diacyl-3'-phosphoryl-sn-glycerol)-sn-glycerol).
